Q: How does online tutoring work?

All sessions happen on Google Meet. We use a shared screen, digital whiteboard, and collaborative documents so it feels interactive and personal. Most of our students tell us they prefer it to in-person tutoring.

Q: What time zones do you work in?

We're based in Atlantic Canada (UTC−4) but schedule sessions to suit students anywhere in the world. We regularly work with families in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Who is Atlantic Tutoring for?

We work primarily with students at international schools - whether you're based in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, or anywhere else. Most of our students are on IB (Diploma and MYP), GCSE, iGCSE, A-Level, or Cambridge Lower Secondary programmes. We specialise in helping high achievers fulfill their potential and supporting students who are struggling or who've lost confidence in a subject.

How does online tutoring work?

All sessions happen on Google Meet. You don't need to install anything - just click a link. We use a shared screen, digital whiteboard, and collaborative documents so it feels interactive and personal.

What subjects do you cover?

Hannah covers maths, physics, and computer science (including Python for IB CS). Cameron covers English (Literature and Language & Literature), Global Politics, Theatre, and Theory of Knowledge. Between us we also support IB Internal Assessments and Extended Essays across multiple subjects.

Do you help with IB Internal Assessments and Extended Essays?

Yes - this is a big part of what we do. We support students from topic selection through to final draft, giving honest, detailed feedback on structure, analysis, and presentation. We know the IB marking criteria well and help students understand exactly what examiners are looking for.

What time zones do you work in?

We work with students around the world from multiple international bases. We're flexible and always find a time that works for you, wherever you are.
